Raising Your Litters!
If you are having a litter, or thinking about having a litter of Bulldog puppies and you're not sure you are prepared for the puppies, or you won't be able to take on the task of raising them yourself, I will raise your puppies for you. There is SO much involved in raising a litter of Bulldogs. PLEASE do your research BEFORE you breed your female so that you can be some-what prepared. When you register your Bulldog through AKC, they send out an information sheet about breeding them. It states:
Having puppies is a major physical and potentially life-threatening event for a Bulldog female, as her litters are usually delivered by cesarean and require an anesthetic. The results of breeding can be devastating if your beloved pet dies during surgery or from complications that follow. The first two or three weeks of a Bulldog puppy's life requires around-the-clock care and many sleepless nights. (They require human raising, meaning you would have to be up to feed them every 2 hours.) Most bulldog females require human assistance in raising puppies. The financial reward is not likely to compensate for time spent or to offset expenses. Before you decide to breed your female you should have a thorough knowledge of the Bulldog Standard. You should also have studied her background and the background of the dog you choose to breed her to. It is usually a good idea to discuss this with her breeder.
Please contact me to discuss the fees associated with me raising your puppies.
